Nottingham Forest will host Manchester United at The City Ground for the 5th round of the FA Cup. Nottingham Forest and Man United will play for the third time this season after two fixtures played in the Premier League. Man United defeated Forest 3-2 at Old Trafford, but in their last meeting at The City Ground, Forest won 2-1. Both teams look to advance to the next round of the competition, with both coming off from losses.

Nottingham Forest are 17th in the Premier League with 24 points and is not in the best of form. They have only one win in the last eight matches in all competitions. Their last home game was against West Ham, where Forest won 2-0 in the league. Forest suffered a 4-2 loss to Aston Villa in the Premier League. Forest got to this FA Cup round by drawing 1-1 with Bristol City but beating them 5-3 on penalties.

After a great run in form in 2024, Man United's winning streak ended last Saturday against Fulham. Man United is 6th in the Premier League table with 44 points and wants to bounce back with a win in the FA Cup. Man United's last loss before Fulham was losing to Nottingham Forest in the league at The City Ground. Man United looks to change that result this time at Forest’s stadium and advance to the quarter-finals. Man United is in the 5th round after beating Newport County in late January.

Nottingham Forest starts with Matt Turner in goal. The back four will be Williams, Felipe, Murillo, and Toffolo. Danilo and Yates are the holding midfielders. Gibbs-White, Awoniyi, and Elanga will play behind Origi.

Man United starts with Onana in goal. The back four consists of Dalot, Varane, Lindelof, and Amrabat, who will be the left back. The two holding midfielders will be McTominay and Casemiro. Antony, Garnacho, and Bruno Fernandes will play behind Marcus Rashford.
