Lionel Messi is admired by millions of football fans across the world. Millions have watched Messi, whether he was playing for FC Barcelona, PSG, the Argentina national team, or Inter Miami. Messi continues to shine at Inter Miami, but now he has reached a new milestone that is related off the field.

Lionel Messi recently reached 500 million followers on Instagram and still has one of the most followed accounts in the world. Messi has posted some of his greatest achievements including wining the 2022 Wolrd Cup in Qatar. The picture of him winning the World Cup trophy is the most-liked Instagram post ever.

Messi did not let the 500 million goal get past him and thanked his fans for the new milestone. Messi posted a short video of all of his Instagram posts in one video. He wrote, "500 Milliones de Gracias por estar siempre!!" which translated means "500 million thanks for always being here."

Inter Miami coach Tata Martino admits Lionel Messi is tired

Inter Miami manager Gerardo Martino admits that Lionel Messi is really tired after the last two games for Inter Miami. Inter Miami played LA Galaxy this past weekend and also played against Real Salt Lake last week in the MLS opener. Martino said, "Messi was very exhausted during the first two matches because he was receiving a lot of balls in low areas and creating plays, so we must work so that the players can find him and be the player who finishes attacks while sometimes creating them, and this is my responsibility."
