The tournament begins with the clash between Querétaro and América at 20:00 ET / 17:00 PT. Querétaro, last in the Apertura 2024, will look to redeem itself after a disappointing campaign with just 12 points. América, champion, will aim to start strong and move past the inconsistency that marked the end of their last season.
Later, Tijuana will host Toluca at 22:00 ET / 19:00 PT. Toluca, the Apertura runner-up, stood out for its potent offense, scoring 38 goals, and wants to reaffirm its role as one of the favorites. Tijuana, seventh in the standings, will try to capitalize on their home advantage to secure their first three points. At the same time, Mazatlán will face Juárez in a duel between teams that finished at the lower end of the table; both will aim to start on the right foot to avoid relegation troubles.

Saturday begins with a match between Atlético de San Luis and Tigres at 18:00 ET / 15:00 PT. San Luis, sixth in the Apertura, closed the previous tournament on a positive streak and will want to keep up the momentum. Tigres, third in the Apertura, boasts one of the strongest defenses in the league and will be a tough challenge for the home side.
At 20:00 ET / 17:00 PT, Monterrey faces Puebla. Monterrey, fifth in the standings, hopes to replicate its strong home form, while Puebla, second to last in the Apertura, will attempt to surprise the Monterrey team. At the same time, Chivas will host Santos at Estadio Akron. Guadalajara, ninth in the table, will aim to present a more competitive side, while Santos needs significant improvement after finishing last in the previous tournament.
