West Ham United have entered the competition for Barcelona striker Raphinha this summer, joining Arsenal and Liverpool in the hunt for the talented Brazilian player, Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo reports.

Raphinha, who joined Barcelona from Leeds United in July 2022 for an initial fee of €65 million, has experienced ups and downs in his performances since his arrival at the Catalan club. Despite contributing four goals and seven assists in just over 1,000 minutes of playing time this season, he has struggled to secure a consistent place in the starting lineup due to the competition in the team.

With his future at Barcelona in doubt, interest in Raphinha has increased, with Arsenal and Liverpool also expressing interest in the player. Both the Gunners and the Reds have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian striker for some time, with Arsenal even trying to sign him before he joined Barcelona.

West Ham United now join the list of Raphinha's suitors, looking to strengthen their attacking line ahead of next season. Despite making significant investments last summer, the Hammers see Raphinha as a valuable addition to their squad, alongside the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.

Klopp and Liverpool most interested

In addition to West Ham's interest, other Premier League clubs such as Newcastle United and Tottenham are also interested in acquiring Raphinha's services this summer. However, Barcelona are likely to demand a considerable sum for the 27-year-old, who, according to reports, would prefer to stay at the Catalan club.
