Jordan Henderson has completed his free transfer move to Ajax. After just six months in Saudi Arabia, the former Liverpool FC captain returns to Europe to play for one of the biggest clubs in European football. Henderson has been frustrated with playing in Saudi Arabia and was desperately looking for a move out from Saudi club Al-Ettifaq.

The English midfielder played 17 matches in the Saudi Pro League with four assists. The team is currently 8th in the league with 25 points. Al-Ettifaq is looking to the Premier League to sign Abdoulaye Doucoure from Everton to replace Henderson. Henderson had to take a pay cut and lose millions to force a move out of Saudi Arabia to the Netherlands.

Jordan Henderson will look to help Ajax continue to climb up the table after a terrible start to the season in the Eredivisie. Ajax was sitting at the bottom of the table earlier in the season and did poorly in the Europa League, sitting third. Ajax arenow fifth in the Dutch league and will play the Conference League.

According to The Sun, a regular Henderson shirt usually costs 86 euros. Ajax has celebrated the midfielder's arrival with a discount, meaning they are now being sold for around 52 euros. Henderson bedsheets go for 47 euros and cushions for 20 euros. Henderson mugs are 13 euros, and towels are going for 28 euros.
