Last season started fantastically since the arrival of Lionel Messi, even winning the Leagues Cup final. However, everything fell apart when Messi was injured, so this time they signed more players, mainly Luis Suarez.

Now, Inter Miami announced one of the most interesting signings and one that will have to be taken into account throughout the season. He is a jewel from Argentina who promises to be one of the best midfielders of the moment and the near future. His name is Federico Redondo.

These were Inter Miami's words on the signing: "We have officially signed Argentine U-23 National Team defensive midfielder Federico Redondo to a contract running through the 2027 MLS season, with a Club option for 2028. The midfielder joins the Club as a U22 Initiative player, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa."

Tata Martino's words on the MLS debut:

“The one against two that he played in the last play, feinting with his left foot and going out to the right, very close to the end, after such great wear and tear, makes me happy because he is obviously well and motivated. “He feels good physically”

“We arrived with several training sessions for the game with Newell's and several at the beginning of the league. The truth is that sometimes you need this. In their case it is true that they know each other, but finding that society again has to do with that.”
