One of the players likely to leave is Lucas Vázquez. The Galician winger, who has been a reliable asset for the team over the years, will see his contract expire in June 2025. Despite his commitment and versatility, which have earned him the respect of coaches and fans alike, Real Madrid appears set not to renew his contract beyond that point. The club is keen to find a younger alternative for his position, signalling the end of his time as a key figure in the squad.

Another name at risk is David Alaba. The Austrian defender, once seen as one of the best in his role, has struggled with injuries and has not been able to return to his peak form. The constant physical setbacks have raised concerns within the club, and while Alaba still holds influence in the locker room, his declining performances and lack of consistency make his future uncertain. If a suitable offer arises, a departure could be on the cards for the experienced centre-back.

Lastly, there is Fran García’s situation. The promising left-back has yet to fully establish himself in the first team, with his performances often inconsistent. Despite his youth and potential, García has not taken full advantage of the opportunities that have come his way. In fact, Premier League club Bournemouth had previously shown interest in him during the winter transfer window, with a proposal close to €20 million. Whether García will stay or leave largely depends on his ability to step up in the remaining months of the season.

Real Madrid’s Summer Overhaul: Who Will Stay and Who Will Go?

The coming months will be crucial for these three players as Real Madrid weighs their futures. With a focus on rejuvenating the squad, the club is prepared to make tough decisions in order to secure long-term success. For Vázquez, Alaba, and García, the path forward may take them elsewhere, marking the beginning of a new era at the Bernabéu.
