Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved so many things in football. Ronaldo has done everything, from multiple Champions League trophies with Real Madrid and winning interaction trophies for his country, Portugal, to league titles with Manchester United and Juventus. Ronaldo, at 38, continues to score goals and help his team, Al Nassr, compete in the Saudi League.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the league's top goal scorer with 20 goals and the top assister with 9. His stats speak for themselves, as he has a total of 29 goal contributions in 18 games. He doesn't look close to being willing to hang up the boots as he desires to continue playing for Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team.

With the Euro 2024 coming up in the summer, Ronaldo looks to increase game appearances for both club and country. The five-time Balon d`Or winner has set another record in football. The International Federation of Football History and Statistics [IFFHS] has ranked Ronaldo as the player with the most games played in the 21st century. The total number of official appearances is 1204, which includes his time with Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al-Nassr, and the Portugal National Team.

Lionel Messi has 1,047 official appearances in his career, with appearances for FC Barcelona, PSG, Inter Miami, and the Argentina National Team. He was placed fourth by IFFHS as a player with the most appearances in the 21st century. Messi would need almost 200 games to beat this record, but with the form of Ronaldo, he would need to play for a few more years if he wants to claim that record.

With Ronaldo turning 39 in February, he shows no sign of retiring as he feels motivated to participate in the 2024 Euros and looks forward to possible participation in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with Al-Nassr, which will take place in the US. That would be more official appearances for the Portuguese player and could hold his new record to new heights, making him untouchable for matches played.
