Cristiano Ronaldo has been a massive influence in Saudi Arabia for his football and caused the country to make big plans. The Portuguese striker is currently playing with Al-Nassr in the Al-Awwal Park stadium, which holds a capacity of 25,000 people. The stadium and Saudi Arabia are hosting many football events like the recent Spanish Super Cup tournament.

25,000 football fans witnessed two great Real Madrid performances last week when Los Blancos won an intense 5-3 Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid and dominated FC Barcelona 4-1 in El Clasico Spanish Super Cup final. Vinicius even recognized playing in Ronaldo's team's stadium by celebrating his first goal with the "SIUU". The whole stadium shouted the "SIU" with Vinicius and even chanted Ronaldo's name before the Clasico game.

The same stadium will host the Italian Super Cup starting tomorrow. Napoli will take on Fiorentina, while Inter Milan will play Lazio on Friday. The Italian Super Cup will take place on Monday, January 22, 2024, in Al-Nassr's stadium.

It is the same process as the Spanish Super Cup tournament, and Saudi Arabia is excited about hosting more football in the future. With Saudi Arabia set to host the 2034 World Cup, Al Nassr looks to expand the stadium's capacity and build the world's first futuristic-looking stadium on a cliff!

Ronaldo's team will have a "retractable roof and a giant LED wall that features hundreds of meters of screens that will open out onto views below the ground. A man-made lake will also be built underneath the stadium, which will be erected on top of a 200-metre cliff."

The stadium will be named the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, and it was designed by the same architectural firm that designed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Populous. Ronaldo Jr. can potentially play in the stadium since he is already in Al Nassr's U-13 team.
