As the 2024 Copa America is in the US, prices rises high to watch Messi
Lionel Messi and Argentina will look to defend their Copa America title in the U.S. this summer.
The 2024 Copa America will take place in the United States this summer. This will be the second time the tournament will be held in the US after hosting it in 2016 for the Copa America Centenario. Argentina are the current Copa America holders and will look to defend their title this summer. Argentina knows two out of three opponents in their group.

Argentina is in Group A along with Peru and Chile, and the winner between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago. Argentina's first game will be against Canada or Trinidad and Tobago at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta on June 20th. On June 25th, Argentina will play Chile in the MetLife Stadium in New York and New Jersey. The final group stage game will be against Peru at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on June 29th. Argentina looks to be in a comfortable group since Canada and Trinidad and Tobago are not the best CONCACAF teams at the moment; Chile is 8th out of the 10 CONMEBOL teams in the World Cup qualifiers, while Peru sits in last place, with no wins.
According to Bloomberg, the pre-sale tickets for Argentina's Copa America matches are in high demand. The tickets increased by a lot compared to their starting price. The resale of the tickets is more than triple its original value. The game against Peru in Miami was $734 at the start of the sale, and now it is $8,400. The game against Chile in New York and New Jersey was at $280 when the sale began, and now it is $9,700. The same could occur for the game against Canada or Trinidad and Tobago in the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
