Real Madrid has always had Zinedine Zidane in the pipeline for him to be part of a third cycle within the Spanish institution. As we know, Carlo Ancelotti will probably stop being coach of Merengue starting in June 2024, so Florentino Pérez is looking for a new strategist thinking about next season and the Frenchman is one of those chosen.

However, on Canal Francia they suggest that Zinedine Zidane could say 'goodbye' definitively to a third cycle at Real Madrid. While the Merengues executives debate between several names to succeed Carlo Ancelotti on the white bench from next season, the French coach would have received a proposal that he would be very close to accepting.

It is not the first time this has happened, because Olympique de Marseille has already contacted Zidane several times. However, the French coach has rejected them all. According to Canal Francia, Zinedine Zidane would join the Marseille team as long as its current owners leave it in the hands of Saudi Arabia. The great fortunes of that country have become interested and, copying the Qatar model, want to increase their presence in European football.

The millions that Zidane will have in Marseille

This transaction, according to journalist David Berger of Canal Francia, would be estimated at "400 million euros and 200 million euros of financing for the contract. And perhaps it would be in January". In this way, Zidane would have around 200 million euros to spend on transfers and return to the city where he was very loved, they would convince him. However, according to Defensa Central, Zidane would be the club's sports director and not his coach.
