Manchester United finds itself in a complex situation. Erik Ten Hag's team is significantly positioned as one of the clubs with the most investment in signings, but unfortunately they have not performed as expected. Now, it is revealed that some are on Saudi Arabia's radar for 2024, where they are willing to put up 200 million to get them all out of Old Trafford.

In a strategic move to raise funds and renew its squad, Manchester United has sent clear signals to the winter market by discarding four renowned players: Raphael Varane, Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial. John Murtough, the Red Devils' head of recruitment, embarked on a mission to Saudi Arabia earlier this month, where he officially offered these players to Saudi Pro League clubs.

The decision to drop Varane, Casemiro, Sancho and Martial comes amid Manchester United's efforts to raise funds for future additions, in line with Erik ten Hag's vision for the team. Despite generous investment over the summer, the season has been disappointing for the Red Devils, leading them to consider new acquisitions to strengthen their squad.

Saudi Arabia and the negotiations

During negotiations in Saudi Arabia, this quartet of players, which together cost the Red Devils a sum of 256 million euros, was officially offered to the leaders of the Saudi Pro League. Although details about possible deals have not been revealed, the move is intended to pave the way for new additions in January. Players such as Antonio Silva, Serhou Guirassy, Joao Neves and Jean-Clair Todibo have been linked to Manchester United, but high transfer fees have complicated these potential transfers.
