The English team hasn't had a good performance in the start of the Premier League.

Manchester United is certainly not in its best form. Erik ten Hag's team has played two Premier League fixtures and the outcomes have been less than satisfactory. With a win against Wolves and a loss to Tottenham, the Red Devils are leaving behind more doubts than answers.

With some key players missing, like Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount, United has had to make several changes in the starting lineup. The noticeable lack of goals within the English team is evident. With Hojlund injured, the team is on the hunt for a reliable striker, which they haven't found yet in Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

The underperformance of certain players, including Anthony, has left the Dutch coach displeased. Additionally, Casemiro doesn't feel quite secure without a trusted midfield partner who can assist in the defensive aspect. Consequently, United continues to search for a defensive midfielder to enhance their play in that area.

The situation contrasts for other players who decided to leave Old Trafford for new adventures or simply because they weren't favored by Erik ten Hag. A similar situation has unfolded for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese player is performing well with Al-Nassr and just yesterday scored a hat-trick to secure victory for his team. Meanwhile, Manchester United is facing difficulties at the moment.

United didn't wake up with the right foot

Manchester United is playing against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford at the moment. However, the match didn't start on a positive note. With less than 5 minutes into the game, United was already down by two goals. Nonetheless, Christian Eriksen scored a goal that shortens the way for Ten Hag's side. At halftime, the home fans aren't entirely pleased with their team's performance.
