Vinicius Jr just renewed his contract with Real Madrid.

According to Diario Globo in Brazil, Vinicius Jr would go from earning five million euros per season to 10.5 million euros per year. That is, an increase of little more than double for the Brazilian, who is one of the most important players of the Spanish club.

This is how Real Madrid commented through an official statement: “Vini Jr. arrived at Real Madrid in July 2018, at just 18 years old, and made his debut for Real Madrid Castilla on August 26. In his six seasons defending the first team shirt he has played 235 games, in which he has scored 63 goals and won 9 titles: 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 2 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups”

Furthermore, with the aforementioned salary increase, Florentino Perez has also added an anti-sheikh recession clause worth €1,000 million... a price that is not within the reach of any club so if he wants to sign Someone, the figure will have to be negotiated.

Vinicius and the Ballon d'Or:

Yesterday during the ceremony, Vinicius Jr spoke with the famous streamer Ibai Llanos, and during the pleasant interview, Ibai asked if he would one day win a Ballon d'Or. This was Vinícíus' response: "Maybe, as I have always said, I want to win many Champions Leagues with Real Madrid."
