FC Barcelona is in great shape towards the beginning of the sixth week of La Liga’s tournament, with 13 positive points they are looking to trail Real Madrid who have 15 points and displace them in today’s match against Celta Vigo, who are currently in the 16 position of the standings.

Barcelona just resigned Xavi Hernandez until 2025 as the Blaugrana manager have shown excellent results, as they won the Super Copa and Copa del Rey last year, and are willing to win once again La Liga’s tournament, as they have a great team that is showing results, with Joao Felix been the best summer market addition.

Barcelona has four games won and just one draw against Getafe in the fifth week of the tournament, which places them on the third position of the standings, just below Real Madrid that has 15 points, and Girona in first place with 16 points as they outstanded 5-2 versus Mallorca.

Pedri won’t be available for today’s match against Celta Vigo as he continues to deal with a thigh injury, nevertheless, Ronald Araujo has recovered successfully from a hamstring that kept him away from any action, he is not expected to start but he will be available as a substitute.

Joao Felix has won his place alongside Lewandowski as he already has three goals made in just two games. Raphinha, Fernan Torres and Yamal will be looking to start as well against Celta Vigo.

Celta Vigo’s manager, Rafael Benitez, will probably won’t make too many changes and keep the lineup he used against Mallorca, however, Franco Cervi will be out as he presented a muscle injury days before the match. Tasos Douvikas will be tried on the attack squad alongside Iago Aspas and Jonathan Bamba.
