Kylian Mbappé and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi met again after the many controversies that have occurred in recent times. The Frenchman sent a statement to PSG in which he announced that he would not renew his contract, which ends in 2024, and this Monday they exchanged glances after said episode with a lot of tension.

It was already agreed that the president of the Parisian club was going to visit the team's training and it was rumored that he might meet with Mbappé to discuss his future. According to information from 'El Chiringuito', this meeting did not take place, despite the fact that the striker spent two and a half hours at the Ciudad Deportiva after training.

What did surprise was the president's speech. Without naming him, he sent a very clear message to Kylian. Al-Khelaïfi repeated what he already said days ago, that "no player is above the institution." His speech hardened, to the point of saying: "If the players do not respect the institution or do not want to play for our shield, they should not be here."

A picture that says more than a thousand words

The tension was noticeable during training and especially in the joint photo of the squad in support of Sergio Rico, who is still recovering from the accident he suffered. Mbappé stood on one side, away from Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Enrique, the sports director, Luis Campos, and the other team captain, Marquinhos.
