Real Madrid has lost their undefeated streak against Atletico Madrid at the Classic Metropolitan Derby, however, they are still on third place of La Liga’s standings, and today will look forward to continue on the victory path as they’ll face UD Las Palmas, one of the teams that has allowed less points throughout the season with only four against.

Real Madrid has had many injured players through the beginning of the 2023/2024 campaign, Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao are still sidelined as well Arda Güller is, but good news have arrived to Valdebebas, because Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr. have successfully returned from the injury reserve list, and will be expected to play today vs Las Palmas.

Although, Vinicius Jr. could’ve returned since the Classic Metropolitan Derby, due to a stomach ache wasn’t available to play and not because he was still injured, now Vini will finally see action again since he went out from Celta Vigo’s match. Sadly, Arda Güller got diagnosed with an injury to the left rectus femoris muscle, and will probably be out for another month.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team has battled all the way down with injured players and it has been their Achilles heel throughout the whole campaign. Thibaut Cuortois has been seen practicing but at a low level as he is still dealing with the torn ACL recovery; Kepa is replacing him but hasn’t fulfilled Ancelotti’s eye.

Real Madrid’s official lineup vs Las Palmas

Real Madrid will seek to link up the seventh victory they need in order to keep in the third place of La Liga’s standings and trail the playoffs when they play today against UD Las Palmas, the 17th place of the table, who only has a victory, one draw and three defeats, nevertheless, is the team with less points against (four).

Real Madrid’s line up against UD Las Palmas will be: Kepa;, Alaba, Mendy,
Nacho, Rüdiger; Camavinga, Tchouaméni, Valverde; Brahim, Joselu, Rodrygo.
