Neymar Jr is one of the most outstanding footballers of the last generation. The Brazilian jumped from the youth ranks of Santos in Brazil where he made his professional debut. After many years of success in the Sao Paulo team, the 32-year-old arrived at FC Barcelona in 2013 where he lived many years of success for 4 long seasons. Since then, the player became one of Lionel Messi's main allies and together they won a UEFA Champions League in 2015 against Juventus. From there, it seemed that successes would keep coming for him in Catalonia. However, after lifting the Champions League, it seems that things have been on standby in the current team of Xavi Hernandez since then.

Moreover,  the mismanagement of Neymar's father as well as the legal and personal problems with the president of the team Bartomeu, caused that in 2017, the footballer decided to leave the club for France. In 2017, Ney signed with PSG and became the most expensive signing in soccer history after the Parisian team paid €222 million for the player.

Despite not having bad numbers at the Parc des Princes, the former Barcelona player was never able to show the quality that once took him to Europe. In 2020, Paris Saint-Germain lost the UEFA Champions League final to Bayern Munich. It is worth noting that this was the only time the team came close to winning an international title. After 6 years in Paris, the footballer signed with Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, being strongly criticized both in his country and in the international press.

Nevertheless, the words of rejection were not enough to discourage the player who just last week became Brazil's top scorer after a brace against Bolivia at the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. On the other hand, having already debuted with the Saudi Pro League team, Al Hilal and Neymar debuted in the AFC Champions League against Navbahor. However, the Saudi team didn't have the best start and a counterattack from the rival team put Neymar's team down at the King Fahd International Stadium. Nonetheless, the Saudi team recovered and tied the game in the last 5 minutes.

Here's the goal
