Arsenal makes his grand comeback to the UEFA Champions League tournament after six years. The last time the Gunners were seen in the prestigious tournament was in the Round of 16 where they lost over Bayern Münich 5-1.

However, Arsenal has returned to prove once again that the English club is here to stay, many analysts even put the Gunners in at least the fourth place of the UEFA Champions League.

Both teams who remained undefeated in their respective leagues clashed today for the second date of the opening in the UEFA Champions League. Nevertheless, the Gunners seems to be the only team that played today as they outstanded PSV 4-0 in a rainy match.

Bukayo Saka was the first to open the match score in the 8’ minute becoming Arsenal’s first player in six years to score once again in the UEFA Champions League; the second score came thanks to Leandro Tossard in the 20’ minute; it didn’t end up there as the third goal was scored by Gabriel Jesus in the 38’ minute, and the fourth and definitive point of the match was thanks to the Norwegian captain Martin Odegaard in the 70’ to end Arsenal´s debut.

What’s next for Arsenal?

Arsenal has proven that his return to the UEFA Champions League is not a joke, as they won 4-0 over PSV, a great team from the Eredivisie. They now lead the B group with three points, Lens is below them and will face them in their next UEFA Champions League appointment on Tuesday October 3rd.

For Arsenal´s Premier League schedule will be against Tottenham Hotspurs on Sunday September 24th and then versus Bournemouth on September the 30th before they face Lens.
