Yesterday, Real Madrid whooped Valencia 5-1, in gameweek 12 of La Liga, and Carlo Ancelotti's men arrived with an important boost of spirit, since during the week they won the Champions League by the score of 3 to 0 and with this they qualified for the next round of the tournament. Now they wanted three points in LaLiga.

At the beginning of the match, Real Madrid surprised because they scored the goal just two minutes in through Dani Carvajal, who took advantage of a perfect change of front by Toni Kroos. The Valencia goalkeeper looked surprised and did not have the reflexes not to let the ball go through the back of the net.

On the other hand, Valencia sold their defeat dearly and had two clear options to score but they ran into the figure of Lunin who, with good foot and hand play, did not allow Real Madrid to tie. The three points are vital for Carlo Ancelotti's team, since with this they are once again two points behind Girona, which is the absolute and sole leader.
