Karim Benzema found the back of the net once again. The French striker scored today during Al-Ittihad's victory against Al Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League. In the 17th minute of the first half, Benzema opened his goal-scoring account for his new team.

The past few weeks hadn't been the smoothest for the former Real Madrid forward. According to multiple international sources, Karim Benzema had not been having the best relationship with manager Nuno Espírito Santo.

As reported by Medio Tiempo, the Portuguese coach did not request Benzema's signing due to not fully favoring his playing style. This tension between the two has been evident, and Benzema himself has expressed that the boss treatment hasn't been professional.

Furthermore, Medio Tiempo claims that the reason Benzema might be seeing less playing time is due to his substantial salary. According to Marca, the Frenchman earns €3million per week

The goal seems to quiet down the rumors of a potential departure.

Benzema responded with a goal, contributing to his team's victory. Currently, Al-Ittihad, holds the top of the Saudi Pro League Table
