Real Madrid is facing a very challenging game against UD Las Palmas for the eight week of La Liga’s tournament, they will try to get again on the victory path after they lost their undefeated streak against Atletico Madrid in a 3-1 loss in the Classic Metropolitan Derby, but they are still on the third place of the standings seeking to scale the ladder.

Real Madrid has already lost another player who should be added to the injury reserve list as David Alaba who had to be substituted in the minute 41’ as he was seen on the ground. Luca Vazquez will replace him and will try to defend Real Madrid’s goal line, who is now currently winning the match.

David Alaba didn’t even sit down on Real Madrid’s bench and right after he was substituted by Luca, he went directly to the dressing room. The medical report of David Alaba’s hasn’t been released yet, we are on the expectative for more information on development.

Real Madrid is currently winning the matchup against UD Las Palmas  1-1 with a great score made by Brahim Diaz in the minute 47’. Nevertheless, Alvaro Valle, Las Palmas goalkeeper, has already stopped five shots from the Merengues, three made by Joselu, another by Brahim and one from Rodrygo.

What games will Alaba miss?

Real Madrid keeps accumulating more injured players now that Alaba’s has been ruled out due to a muscular injury on his right leg. He will join alongside Arda Güller, Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao to the injury reserve list. It hasn’t been informed how many days Alaba will be out, but as we could see in the broadcast, it surely looks severe.

David Alaba has been the only Real Madrid defender to play all eight matches since the beginning of the 2023/2024 season, but unfortunately he won’t be able to continue further. Real Madrid will go up next versus Girona, who is on second place of the standings, and for October the 4th, the Merengues will go up against Napoli for the second date of the UEFA Champions League.
