Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival to Saudi Arabia was an unbelieavable moment in football history, as everybody thought the Portuguese astro would retire with the club that saw him become the great athlete he is now, but Ronaldo broke the reality when he was announced as the new striker for Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr is one of the top Saudi clubs in the Saudi Pro League, the one that suited the best for a top A class performer like Cristiano Ronaldo is. And not only he fits well in the club but he does in this classic Saudi Arabian attire.

Cristiano Ronaldo looks like a total Sheikh in his Saudi Arabian attire that is meant to be used in the new promotional video for the Al-Nassr club, where the whole team, and even the manager are presented in the traditional Arabic robes in order to conmemorate the Saudi Arabia National Day.

What is Saudi Arabia's National Day?

Every September 23rd, it is celebrated Saudi Arabia's National Day, which consist to celebrate the official change of name of the "Kingdom of Neyd and Hijaz" to "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" by royal decree of King Abdulaziz bin Saud in 1932.

King Abdulaziz was able to conquer the oases of Riyadh in 1902; and al-Hasa in 1913, and by 1925, he unified Nejed and Hijaz after defeating Sharif Hussein's forces. On September 23rd 1932, Bin Saud changed the name of his kingdom to his family name, the House of Saud.

According to the Saudi government, the celebration is an opportunity to learn about Saudi heritage, customs and traditions. The intention of the celebrations is to present the heritage of Saudi Arabia, appreciate the beauty of the country, and promote pride in their country and its rich history.
