Lionel Messi has been a key player for Argentina in the ongoing FIFA World cup in Qatar, scoring twice, including a spectacular goal against Mexico, and contributing one assist despite having a penalty saved against Poland. La Albiceleste defeated Poland in their final group game on Wednesday, and will face Australia on Saturday.

Australia defeated Denmark 1-0 on Wednesday night to go to the World Cup's knockout rounds, joining Group D champions France for the first time since 2006. Their reward for doing so, though, is one of the most difficult challenges in football right now: a matchup with a hot-handed Argentina at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.

The horrible news Neymar gets in Qatar

As The Netherlands or The United States America are waiting for the winner of the tie in the  quarterfinals, this World Cup has already produced a number of surprises, as Saudi Arabia's opening match against Argentina showed. Cameroon also did the same, to become the first African country to beat Brazil in the world cup.

Manager Lionel Scaloni is therefore not taking anything for granted, as Argentina and Lionel Messi haven't exactly had an easy World Cup so far, but they are the heavy favorites going into their round of 16 matchup against Australia. The former West Ham United defender, now tactician has now perfected plans for a Argentina victory in Qatar.

Scaloni's way to make Messi actualize world cup dream

Scaloni says for Argentina to secure victory in Qatar, the team must leave theoretical favoritism to the side and play. The manager also assured Argentines that the team will leave its last drop of sweat on the pitch in a bid to actualise their world cup dream. Argentina have only won the mundial twice, 1978 and 1986.
