Lamine Yamal is one of the most exciting footballers today. The 16-year-old footballer recently became FC Barcelona's youngest scorer in LaLiga. However, for a few weeks his level has been very superlative and this has led him to the Spanish National Team, who wants to ensure his future and that he does not play with another team, Morocco being the other nationality for which he could opt to play for in the next years.

Morocco has denied through a statement that it has offered money to Lamine Yamal to agree to play for his national team and respects the FC Barcelona forward's decision to do so with Spain. "The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) categorically denies the false information published in the Spanish sports newspaper AS in its edition of Tuesday, October 10, 2023," reads the statement.

Likewise, the FRMF argues that this information "is not based on any evidence, since we have respected the decisions of the player Lamine Yamal, as well as those of other players of Moroccan origin who chose other teams." In the aforementioned article it is stated that Lamine Yamal received pressure and offers of money to decide to play for Morocco, something flatly false according to the Moroccan federation.

Lamine Yamal injured

Tests have shown that he has an injury to the iliopsoas in his left leg. He is low and his evolution will determine his availability. The player joins the Spanish team's concentration in which he will also be evaluated by the RFEF medical services. Lamine Yamal is part of Luis de la Fuente's list for La Roja's qualifying matches in recent games. One more injury in the long list of injuries for FC Barcelona. After Jules Kounde's injury was confirmed in the match against Granada, FC Barcelona has announced that Lamine Yamal also joins the team that already includes the names of Pedri, De Jong, Raphinha and Lewandowski.
