Pedri is one of the most outstanding footballers of FC Barcelona. The Spanish midfielder began to shine at a very young age with the club and the reality is that many expect him to be the team's new standard in the coming years, something that is very likely due to the high level that he shows and has shown throughout the years as a player. Now, in a curious and funny way, the player is asked who his favorite player is between Iniesta and his current coach Xavi, something that ended up surprising many.

The truth is that, recently, the midfielder has been subjected to a challenge on 'ESPN' in the United Kingdom in which he has had to choose between two players which is his favorite. There was a 'coincidence' that everyone had gone through the ranks of Barça, so Pedri ended up choosing who his idols or role models for the Barça club are.

The midfielder did not hesitate to say that Iniesta is better than The reality is that for many Xavi was better than Iniesta, but for others he was totally different. At least for Pedri, the scorer of Spain's 2010 World Cup goal is better.

Pedri's other curiosities

In the defensive section, he has had to choose between Carles Puyol and Gerard Piqué. He ended up staying with the eternal '3', with whom he coincided in the locker room from his arrival in 2020 until the winter of 2022, when he announced his retirement. Likewise, between Diego Armando Maradona and Johan Cruyff, the midfielder has stayed with the Dutchman, one of the great idols in the club's history and a reference for the Barça model. There was no surprise when choosing between Xavi Hernández and Andrés Iniesta, since he has always declared that the one from Fuentealbilla is his idol and one of the players he has focused on the most to be the midfielder he is today.
