Neymar is one of the best players of the last generation of soccer players. The current Al Hilal player shone in these past qualifiers against Bolivia and Peru. The Brazilian player became the top scorer of Brazil and his legacy with his country continues to grow exponentially having surpassed even Pele himself.

After signing with Al Hilal, the player has not debuted with the Saudi Arabian team. The signing of the player caused controversy because he still has the age to compete in a higher level football. Nevertheless, in these past qualifiers towards the 2026 World Cup, he showed what he is made of. Despite not having a prominent step with PSG, the current 31-year-old had good numbers and along with Kylian Mbappe became one of the most decisive players of the team from the capital of Paris.

However, the midfielder is constantly criticized in Europe and even in his home country,  because in all his years in the Parisian team, he failed to get any title of relevance. It should be remembered that PSG lost the Champions League final against Bayern Munich in 2020. Similarly, the player arrived in Paris for €222 million becoming to date the most expensive player in the history of soccer

The Brazilian had already won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2015 by defeating Juventus in the final. However, it seems that all that has been left behind and the future of Neymar Jr is now with Al Hilal. The Arab team prepares to debut in the AFC Champions League against Navbahor Namangan and everything seems to indicate that the player will start.

This would be Al Hilal's starting 11

Al Hilal: Al-Owais, Al Shahrani, Al Bulaihi, Al Tambakti, Abdulhamid, Al Faraj, Neves, Neymar, Malcom, Michael, Mitrovic
