The show is over: What will happen between Rubiales and FIFA

Luis Rubiales announced yesterday during an ordinary session of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) that he would not resign despite the controversy surrounding the incident involving a kiss with player Jenni Hermoso.The Spanish official provided his version of the events which has stirred up significant global controversy.

Numerous personalities, including the President of Spain himself,  expressed their displeasure regarding his actions. The world of soccer was no exception. Many players, as well as journalists, are demanding Rubiales' departure from the RFEF. Simultaneously, the messages of support for Hermoso have been encouraging. Numerous female footballers have voiced their support for the Pachuca Women's player.

Despite Rubiales' decision not to step down, FIFA, through its Disciplinary Committee led by Jorge Iván Palacio, announced today the provisional suspension of Luis Rubiales from all soccer-related activities for a period of 90 days. According to FIFA, this suspension takes immediate effect starting today.

Furthermore, FIFA stated that there is no final decision on his case at this point, but it will always prioritize the integrity of individuals.

He can't contact Jenni Hermoso by any circumstances

Moreover, FIFA has prohibited Rubiales from contacting Jenni Hermoso and anyone in her close circle, whether by himself or through third parties. The controversy continues to generate discussions and debates to this day.
