The news that make Madrid's players exited , three possible replacements for Luis Enrique

Spain is one of the most important national teams in Europe. Their process has been long and the doubts around the national team is large and complicated. Many players have been left behind in this international break and many more are fighting to get a spot and play the 2022 World Cup. 

However, earlier today the Luis Rubiales spoke about the future of the Spanish national team and Luis Enrique's involvement in this process. He left the possibilities open for the future of the team's direction and clarified that he will meet the spanish coach after the World Cup.

Luis Enrique's player selection process has been criticized by many in Spain who are not entirely happy about the players he chooses. It's been said amongst fans and press that he's got a sort of favoritism for FC Barcelona players as he's a former coach from the club. 

Reality is, there are many clubs interested in Luis Enrique's services and Spain is already looking for a replacement for the asturian. One of the clubs that has been interested in hiring his services is Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid. The club is not having a great season so far and there are serious talks about the end of Simeone's time in Atlético, for which the directives consider Luis Enrique a suitable replacement. 

The possible replacements to Luis Enrique in ‘La Roja’ 

Talks are ongoing as Luis Enrique is set to leave ‘La Roja’ in january. Possibilities are high and that is a risk the Spanish Soccer Federation is not willing to take. Right now there are two names being discussed by the directives, former Valencia coach Marcelino and Luis de la Fuente, Spain's U-21 coach. Another further but possible replacement is the current Belgium national team's coach, Roberto Martinez, a coach that Rubiales likes.
