The bad streak that El Tri has had in its last few games is starting to worry the Mexican Soccer Federation.

The Mexican national soccer team is going through a complicated moment as it is 5 months away from the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and its performance has not been the best. As an example, the squad coached by Gerardo Martino was beaten by Uruguay in a friendly match and then tied 0-0 with Ecuador, so doubts about El Tri are growing.

And the worst thing is that the matches that El Tri has been playing have been in the United States, a country where the Mexican Soccer Federation always organizes the Mexican national team's tours since Mexicans who live there do pay to see the Mexican team playing against other national teams

And although in the past these tours were followed massively by fans of the Mexican national team, in recent years the performance of the team now coached by Martino is not the same as before and El Tri is no longer the giant of Concacaf, so now every game of the Mexican team on U.S. soil is no longer an opportunity to see the Mexican national team beat other teams, but an opportunity to see them lose and this could ruin the great business that Femexfut has in the United States.

This is the million-dollar figure that Femexfut would lose if Martino's El Tri continues to lose on its tours

According to information from El Economista, a Mexican media outlet, Femexfut registers close to 10 million dollars per year, at a rate of 5 games per year, so if Martino's El Tri continues to lose, these millions of dollars could be lost since fans of the Mexican team in the United States would lose interest in continuing to watch a team that does not win.

For this reason, it is even rumored that Femexfut is considering removing Martino from El Tri and contemplating coaches such as Miguel Herrera or Guillermo Almada to save the million-dollar business they have in the United States.
