The match in which Vinicius Jr could make his return with Real Madrid

Vinicius Jr.'s recovery seems to be going better than initially predicted. The Brazilian forward sustained an injury two matches ago in his team's victory over Celta Vigo in Balaidos. The initial diagnosis was not very favorable for the team.

According to Spanish outlets,  the attacker could miss up to 7 matches. This has forced Carlo Ancelotti to make rotations in his team. However, things have not gone too badly for the Italian with a last-minute victory over Getafe with a goal from Jude Bellingham.

Now, according to MARCA, Real Madrid wants to integrate Vinicius back into the team as soon as possible, and his return could happen in the upcoming fixtures.

When could Vini Jr. return?

According to Marca, Carlo Ancelotti's team wants to reintegrate the player into the squad for the Madrid Derby against Atlético Madrid. The match is scheduled for September 24th, just one month after the injury. Similarly, the Brazilian National Team has also been affected. Brazil will face Bolivia and Peru in the opening matches of the South American World Cup Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup during this FIFA international break. At the moment, nothing is confirmed.
