Inter Miami counts the days to be able to count on Lionel Messi in their ranks. Currently, the captain of the Argentine National Team is in the Bahamas with his family and it is agreed that the signing and official presentation in the Florida franchise will be on July 16. Along the same lines, his official debut with the Garzas shirt will be on the 21st of that same month and the club made an announcement for that meeting.

This Tuesday, Inter Miami announced that those fans who have paid the season ticket will have priority when purchasing tickets for Messi's debut against Cruz Azul. All Season Ticket members will receive an email on Wednesday, June 28 in the morning with a link and a unique password to access the offer of the match against the Mexicans for the Leagues Cup.

This benefit comes not only for organizational reasons, but also as a thank you and reward to all those fans who trusted a team that is not responding on the field: they have not scored any points in the last seven MLS games and are stuck in the Bottom of the Eastern Conference table.

What is the Leagues Cup, the tournament in which Messi will debut:

Lionel Messi will debut in a competition that had its first edition in July 2019. It is played between MLS and Liga MX clubs and the different teams are paired in groups of three and only the first two advance to the next phase. In this edition, Inter Miami will share the zone with Cruz Azul and Atlanta United.
