Lionel Messi continues to conquer victories with Inter Miami. The Argentine lifted the Leagues Cup, marking The Herons' first-ever title in their history. David Beckham's team made the right decision to bring in what is considered the greatest player of all time.

Since his arrival in the United States, Messi has showcased his footballing prowess, solidifying his status as the legend he is today. One of his notable characteristics  is his goal-scoring instinct, mixed with his exceptional playmaking abilities. The Rosario native excels at creating opportunities for his team and delivering passes that seem impossible at first glance.

With this said, having Messi in Miami is too good to be true. Before Messi's arrival, Inter Miami was struggling. The Fort Lauderdale based team had gone 11 games without a win in the MLS. Therefore, the goal for the team at the moment is to climb up positions in the Eastern Conference and move away from the bottom of Major League Soccer standings

Moreover, Inter Miami defeated FC Cincinnati in the US Open Cup semifinals securing their second championship game in their short history. However, despite the victory, Lionel Messi's impressive streak came to an end.

What was the streak that Messi lost?

Lionel Messi had scored in every game he played for Inter Miami except for this one. In total, he has scored 10 goals in 8 matches. Therefore, his streak of scoring in 7 consecutive games came to an end. Nonetheless, this doesn't diminish Messi's achievement of achieving these numbers in his early matches in the United States, even before making his official debut in the MLS. There are certainly high expectations for Lionel Messi's upcoming matches.
