The $85 million player who could replace Ansu Fati in Barcelona

The future of Ansu Fati at FC Barcelona remains uncertain. According to international media outlets, the Spanish player is reportedly seeking to leave the team due to a lack of playing time in recent seasons, coupled with persistent injuries he has been dealing with for at least the past two seasons.

As reported by SPORT, the Catalan club is not eager to sell the 20-year-old player. Allegedly, one of the conditions that Barcelona has imposed is that Fati would leave on a loan deal. Therefore, a temporary move seems to be a plausible scenario.

Among the interested teams are Tottenham, Chelsea, and there's even talk of potential interest from Liverpool.

Furthermore, Ansu Fati's departure could represent an opportunity for Xavi Hernandez to reinforce his offensive lineup. As mentioned by Mundo Deportivo, Fati's exit could pave the way for Joao Felix to join the team. Such a move wouldn't be implausible.

Why is it possible?

It's worth noting that Joao Felix's agent is none other than Jorge Mendes, who has facilitated numerous signings for Joan Laporta's team. The Portuguese player's arrival could offer him a second chance to prove himself.  Back in 2019,  Atletico Madrid paid €127 million ($137 million), making him the most expensive signing in the club's history.
