Leaving behind the economical issues the FC Barcelona is now involved, the Blaugrana team has to prepare for their second game of the week when they face Sergio Ramos’s Sevilla at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium, and will look forward to link up their sixth victory in the tournament and scale to second position of the standings as they are just behind one point from Real Madrid.
Barcelona comes from a pretty tight matchup versus Javier Aguirre’s RCD Mallorca who was able to tie the game versus the Blaugrana team. FC Barcelona has now two draws and five victories, which places them on the third position of the table. And by the other hand, Sevilla, who is in 12th place of the standings will seek their third victory of the campaign, but comes from a great 5-1 win over Almeria (the last team of the standings).
Sergio Ramos, the new star player from Sevilla, knows Barcelona and Xavi Hernandez pretty well, back in his Real Madrid days when they were great rivals, something that may help Sevilla’s squad in order to create a game plan for tomorrow’s match and put the first defeat on the Blaugrana’s record.
Also, Sergio Ramos didn’t hold up his thoughts on tomorrow’s match and has already sent a warning to Barcelona, “Hopefully, it wouldn't be bad to score the first goal against Barca, right? But I worry more that the team has a strong defensive line and tries to keep a clean sheet." said the defender in an interview hours before the match.
The matchup between FC Barcelona versus Sevilla FC will be played tomorrow Friday September 29th at the Lluis Company Olympic Stadium. The kickoff is set to start at 3:00 pm ET/12:00 pm PT. You’ll be able to watch the game via streaming with ESPN+, or if you wish to broadcast the matchup on your television, ESPN Deportes will be in charge of the LIVE coverage.
