Saudi football's transfer window is finally over. Saudi Pro League teams made some shocking signings throughout the summer and many players from the European football's elite ended up playing this season in Saudi. One of the biggest moves was of course the signing of Neymar with Al Hilal.

But Brazilian superstar leaving PSG and deciding to continue his career in Saudi was not the only surprise of the transfer window. Premier League stars like Allan Saint Maximin, N'golo Kante, Fabinho, Mitrovic, Koulibaly, Jordan Henderson and many more names are already competing in Saudi Pro League.

Last minutes moves were expected in Saudi Pro League's transfer market as the window remained open since last Thursday, and the summer transfer window in Europe closed on 1st September. Saudi football teams were tempting some players that are currently not regular starters for their managers and some are in the middle of unresolved situations.

Al Ettifaq tried to sign this Manchester United star

According to british media, Steven Gerrard's side Al Ettifaq tried to make a last minute move to sign Jadon Sancho. The Manchester United player is in the middle of a controversy after Erik Ten Hag decided to leave him out of the squad against Arsenal and stating that Sancho wasn't included because of the player's performances in training. Al Ettifaq, the team that signed Wijnaldum and Henderson this summer, made an offer to United to sign Sancho on loan. Apparently, Sancho was open to a move but an agreement was never reached.
