The play started with a steal by the visitors. After that, Kimmich sent the ball to the feet of Gnabry, who in less than a second crossed the ball to Sadio Mané. The Senegalese attacker headed the ball home to make it 3-0 in the Bundesliga opener. The match ended in a 6-1 thrashing, as Bayerns starts off the new season in perfect manner.

It is worth noting that, before arriving in Germany in the 2021-22 season, Sadio Mané had 34 appearances in the Premier League in which he scored 16 goals and provided two assists. He also appeared in three FA Cup matches, scoring twice and scoring five times in 13 appearances in the Champions League.

Starting off with the right foot

Bayern recently added Sadio Mané to their squad, but he has earned the manager's trust. In fact, the Senegal striker has already made his mark in the official debut a week ago in the Super Cup against RB Leipzig: he scored a goal in the 3-5 victory and, in the process, won the first trophy of the new campaign.
