FC Barcelona continues to silently recruit new players for its ranks, and for some time there has been talk of a new Messi, whose name is Estevao William. The Brazilian has declared that he wants to play for Xavi Hernández's team and that he has always followed the Argentine star, trying to imitate him in all of his plays.

According to information from Fútbol Total: “Barça is very close to closing an agreement with Palmeiras for Estevão Willian. The agreement will be around 50 million, considering the variables.” Thus, although Real Madrid had him in consideration to hire him, the player's desire to go with the Culés prevailed much more.

“My biggest idol is Messi, I grew up watching him play and I try to imitate him in his game,” Estevao William mentioned in an interview with the Brazilian media. The Brazilian player has not even made his debut in the first team, but he had a great U-17 World Cup, which made FC Barcelona take him into account and want to sign him.
