FC Barcelona is not going through a good moment, and it seems to be getting worse, because, with all the arbitration scandal that was revealed a few weeks ago, UEFA has now announced that they will begin investigations, in order to find out exactly what the Barca, and thus punish them.

UEFA, which is the highest soccer organization at the European level, has threatened to sanction FC Barcelona, as long as it finds signs of corruption with respect to arbitration. Among the sanctions that are discussed, it would be the expulsion from European competitions for several seasons.

This unprecedented punishment alarms the team's players, since playing in the UEFA Champions League is very important for many of them, and it is serious for new signings, since not playing in that competition could be the reason why a player does not join, as is the case with Lionel Messi.

What decision would Messi take?

From the newspaper Olé they assure that Lionel Messi wants to play, at least, one more year in the European elite, and that implies the UEFA Champions League. If FC Barcelona cannot participate, the signing of Lionel Andrés Messi would be even more complicated.
