One week left, but they have already decided to close their transfer market.

There are seven days left until the closing of the transfer market in the most important leagues in Europe. The teams are getting ready for the new season and the market has moved a lot and will continue moving until august 31.

The coaches have expressed in press conferences what they want and what they need for their teams in the 2023-2024 season. Today the turn was for Carlo Ancelotti, who confirmed that the Real Madrid transfer market is closed and his squad is complete to face the New Season, according to Fabrizio Romano.

This news confirms that the possible arrival of Kylian Mbappé will not happen, at least in this transfer market. Let's remember that Real Madrid has been trying to sign the Frenchman in the recent seasons, but the negotiations have been always interrupted by the player and his current club, Paris Saint Germain.

Ancelotti trusts that their players want to stay at the club in the next days, however, he knows that the possibility of a tentative offer from Saudi Arabia for one of his players could happen. “Soccer in Arabia offers more money than the European one. It is a fact. It's happening. Let each one decide what he wants”, the coach said. The market in Arabia will close on september 20 and there is a risk of losing a player in those 20 days.

What have been the signings of Real Madrid this summer?

‘Los Merengues’ have invested more than 120 million euros this summer. They signed the second most expensive player in the club's history, Jude Bellingham, they paid 103 M€ for him. They also signed the 18 years old Arda Güler from Fenerbahce for 20 M€. They hired the spanish Fran Garcia, he comes from Rayo Vayecano and he cost 5 M€. In addition, Kepa Arrizabalaga arrived on loan to replace Courtois while he recovers from his injury.
