Manchester United wants to continue signing this season. The Red Devils have not started the recent Premier League season. in the best way. With this said, the team under Erik ten Hag wants to bring in at least one more player to strengthen the most vulnerable areas on the field.

The Mancunian team was strongly outplayed by Spurs last Saturday, who took full advantage of every possible opportunity to significantly overcome their rivals. A handball by Cristian Romero in the penalty area sparked controversy in London, as VAR did not deem the handball as valid.

However, United failed to create dangerous chances afterward, marking two games where the team's offense has been completely absent. Additionally, the lack of effectiveness from the new signing, Mason Mount, has raised doubts for the Dutch coach, who might just decide to bring in a defensive midfielder.

According to multiple sources, Sofyan Amrabat is closer than ever to Old Trafford. The Moroccan player, still with Fiorentina, was left out of La Viola's squad for the Conference League match against Rapid Vienna. Reports from Italy indicate that manager Vincenzo Italiano does not have the player in his plans for this season. This was evident in the Serie A's first round last weekend, where the midfielder remained on the bench.

What's separating Amrabat from Manchester United?

In England, it is reported that United wants to offload players like Danny van de Beek, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, among others. The goal is to gather enough funds to bring in the Atlas Lions star. Similarly, Italian sources suggest that Manchester's offer has not convinced either the Italian club or the player. Fiorentina expects at least €35 million to consider a potential sale this summer.  With just 9 days left until the transfer window closes, time is counting and Manchester Utd knows it.
