Manchester United reports millionaire loss, three teams that could afford Cristiano

Cristiano Ronaldo is on international duty with Portugal, waiting for an opportunity to shine like he's used to and he's not had in Manchester. In spite of his status as club and world legend, Cristiano could be facing a harsh reality if things don't change for his club. 

Manchester United board of directors gathered and concluded that the club has a loss of approximately 132 million euros from last season. This values are a true concern for Manchester United as the club even increased their income by 18% or 667,2 million euros because of ticket sales and commercial income.

In the official statement from the club's economic directives, United declared that the most significant expense is in fact directly related to the Portuguese legend. ‘The red devils’ reported that their most significant expense are the salaries in which Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest earning in the club with 29,4 million dollars. CR7 has already expressed his desire to leave the club and compete at a higher level for his spot in 2024 Euro. 

Now, things are more complicated for Cristiano as he has a very strong direct competitor in his position at Manchester United and that in fact has the same goals as Cristiano in less matches played. Antony arrived at United recently and made a debut goal. He's been the starter above CR7 for Ten Haag and could be a reason why Cristiano definitively leaves United. 

Where can ‘the commander’ land after United?

After the last transfer window, clubs like Bayern Munchen, Juventus, PSG and even Real Madrid made absolutely clear they do not want Cristiano Ronaldo and can't afford him. However, Cristiano still has many clubs after him. One of these is Inter Miami, that has expressed their desire of getting the portuguese many times and can pay him an important sum. Another possibility could be L.A Galaxy, that has proven to be a club that has no problem hiring expensive world class players. The last but most realistic option is Sporting in Portugal, this has a big if, money. The highest earning Spoting player is payed 5 million a year, so CR7 would have to lower his salary in more than half.
