Manchester United got their third consecutive victory in the Premier League after beating Leicester City on the road (0-1) in the match corresponding to the fifth match day. They consolidated the good streak of the Red Devils who have not lost since the arrival of Casemiro to Erik ten Hag's team.

With Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench, accompanied by his teammate Casemiro, United took control of the ball from the start against an inferior Leicester, which again sowed chaos to finish the day as bottom of the league.

Jadon Sancho confirmed his fine start to the season with another vital goal for his side. The England international, on a mission to rediscover his best form, gave the Manchester side the lead and the win after a delightful finish past goalkeeper Ward.

Ten Hag's side could not keep up the pace in the second half and Leicester dreamed of an unattainable draw despite repeated chances. However, the entry of Casemiro and Cristiano Ronaldo revitalized the ‘Red Devils’ and left the home side with no options.

Cristiano Ronaldo looked grim on the sidelines

It is no secret that Cristiano Ronaldo likes to be the center of attention. The cameras were focused on him throughout the match and he seemed miserable on the sidelines, even when United took the lead. When he entered the game he tried to score by all means even with a bicycle kick, but his shots did not take direction to seal the match and Ronaldo remains goal-less and without a place in United’s starting lineup.
