Liverpool FC looks forward to becoming the top leader of the Premier League standings as they are facing Tottenham Hotspur in a pretty tight and dramatic game as the matchup is tie 1-1, but Liverpool is playing with only 10 players due to a challenging play over Curtis Jones at the 21’ minute.

The Reds may achieve the top of the ladder now that Manchester City was defeated by Wolverhampton in a 2-1 victory at the Molineux Stadium. Nevertheless, Liverpool's chances are being compromised by Tottenham Hotspur that is looking forward to obtaining their fifth victory of the season and scale to the third position, surpassing Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur was the first to open the score with a great goal scored by Son Heung-Min at the minute 36’; the hosts have been dominating the ball possession with over  48 percentage, also Liverpool is suffering as they only have 10 players on field as Curtis Jones was expelled from the game at the 26’ minute.

 

Nevertheless, Liverpool is not backing down and they know they can be the top leaders of the Premier League tournament for the first time of the 2023/2024 campaign. With a great goal made by Cody Gakpoa at the minute 45+6’, Liverpool has tie the game and is on the hunt to prevail over Hotspur.

Liverpool FC has a pretty tight schedule ahead; For their second Europe League appointment they will face Union-Saint Gilloise on Thursday the 5th;  for the next Premier League week will go up against Brighton Hooves on October 8th; and then against Everton on October 21st.
