Mexican forward Carlos Vela's contract with Los Angeles FC is about to end and the Los Angeles club is considering the possibility of signing another striker, which could open the way for club América to seek the signing of Mexican Carlos Vela.
According to the newspaper AS, the Los Angeles FC team would be following in the footsteps of the Ecuadorian attacker Énner Valencia, who currently plays in Turkish soccer and had a past in the Premier League as well as in the League MX with Pachuca and Tigres. If Valencia arrives at the LAFC, it would be to replace Carlos Vela.
If Carlos Vela remains as a free agent, it would be easier for club América to negotiate a possible signing. According to journalist John Sutcliffe, senior executives of the team would be interested in Carlos Vela wearing the club América, not so much for sporting reasons but also for the commercial contribution that the Mexican striker can provide.
According to the latest report from Sportrac, the Mexican striker Carlos Vela would be receiving a salary close to 3.5 million dollars, a salary that club América would have to offer him if he wishes to have the Mexican striker in his ranks. The player who currently earns the most in the team is Roger Martínez, who oscillates a salary close to 2.5 million dollars.
