Karim Benzema was one of the big strong bets by the Saudi Pro League for this season. The current Ballon d'Or was placed in an important way at Real Madrid, but ended his cycle by accepting an offer from Al Ittihad and being the second highest paid in the Arab league, behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, after the player's official debut, the first friction between the Frenchman and his new coach in Arabia, Nuno Espitiro Santo, is reported. According to FootMercato and the journalist Al-Aswat, the coach is not a follower of Karim Benzema's style of play and considers that he does not need a center forward with his conditions for his team.

The French striker was not present at training today and rumors about his departure are beginning to spread. The French footballer has been characterized by not tolerating any type of negative attitude. On the other hand, it seems that the tension exploded when the coach denied the Frenchman's request to be the new captain of the Arab team.

Will Benzema leave Arabia?

It will be very difficult for the player to decide to leave the Arab team at this time. Above all because of the important investment that is involved by Al Ittihad. However, FootMercato points out that Benzema is not at all comfortable with the current environment in the team and could request his departure if things end up getting complicated with the club's current coach.
