Inter Miami is set to pay tribute to Lionel Messi for his Ballon d'Or win during this game

Lionel Messi is one of the most important players in the history of soccer. The Argentinian captain has shown important things in all the teams he has played for and Inter Miami has certainly not been the exception. Things seem to be going well for the Argentinian despite not having achieved all the proposed objectives. Given this, things are going from less to better for Messi.

After leaving PSG this summer to sign with Inter Miami, the Herons player showed important things just days after his arrival. Having lifted the Leagues Cup, the player became the footballer with the most titles in history, thus making football history. His achievements have been compared to the likes of Diego Armando Maradona, among others

For many years, Lionel Messi shared the stage with Cristiano Ronaldo. That rivalry became a business in soccer and to this day it continues to make a difference. Today, with both away from Europe, they continue to excel in their respective fields. However, Messi made merits to once again consolidate himself as the best player in the world after winning the 2023 Ballon d'Or.

Given this, Messi's first match as the 2023 Ballon d'Or winner would be in China. However, this tour has been cancelled for commercial and economic reasons. With that said, Inter Miami plans to honor the team like the greats and would do so during a friendly match. During the match, the Argentine will be honoured by his team after winning the 2023 Ballon d'Or.
