Lionel Messi has been interviewed by none other than Zinedine Zidane, on behalf of Adidas. The interview lasts half an hour, but it doesn't even take 24 hours and it already has millions of views on YouTube, since Lionel's answers have gone viral.

Lionel Messi was not sorry and told Zidane what he felt about him: "You know that I admire you a lot, we were not lucky enough to play together, we were lucky enough to face each other a little and then you as a coach and me as a player, but always with respect and admiration."

Zinedine Zidane, despite having accomplished everything in his career, shared his frustrated dream, and in fact it was the first thing he said in the interview: "You know? It's a shame not to have been able to play with you. Now it's time to give you a pass." And indeed, Zizou gave a pass to Messi and there was an image for history.

Later, Messi confirmed that he was not just saying it for convenience: “I'm not saying it because I'm here, but I have said it several times before: Zidane is one of the best players in history and I have always admired and loved him. I followed him a lot in Madrid and I also suffered a lot for him because I am from Barcelona. Zidane is elegance, art, magic and everything. I have many memories of him, including his goal against Leverkusen in the Champions League final, his goal against Brazil in the World Cup final, the iconic spin move he used to do and the famous Valencia goal.”
