An international legend who left his mark based on his goals with each shirt he wore. However, Samuel Eto'o's present has nothing to do with his glory days when he shone in European football.

It is that Erika Do Rosario Nieves, who was judicially declared the daughter of the former striker, has filed a complaint against her father for not paying more than 90,000 euros in alimony, which, if successful, could mean an effective prison sentence for the Cameroonian

According to his lawyer, Fernando Osuna, the complaint has been filed after claiming through the courts the payment of two years of arrears of support, after several unsuccessful attempts to contact the player, for which he claims that "he be convicted of a crime of non-payment of alimony”.

The lawyer has added that "the daughter's economy is very weak, while her father lives in luxury", for which he has filed the lawsuit in the court of first instance number 83 of Madrid. In addition to accusing him of non-payment of alimony, the defense recalls in his brief that Eto'o has several criminal records: one year and ten months for a tax offense in Spain and another economic penalty for not paying another daughter's pension extramarital in Italy.
