Lionel Messi has not yet been presented and is already beginning to make an impact in all areas of Inter Miami. His arrival not only already generates significant income for the club and the MLS, but also forced job searches to be launched to populate the club with professionals who are up to what the arrival of '10' will generate.

Now, one of the club's biggest concerns is its current venue, the DRV PNK Stadium, which has a capacity for just 18,000 fans. Aware of them, the franchise accelerated to start the construction of a new venue that will be called Miami Freedom Park & Soccer Village. This will be able to accommodate 25,000 spectators and will have top-level technology.

Despite the great enthusiasm, the project will only be finished in 2025. In other words, Messi may be at its inauguration, but during his first year and a half as a player for Las Garzas he will have to settle for playing the matches at the modest DRV PNK Stadium. To take into account how small the current home of Inter Miami is, the capacities of the Barcelona and PSG stadiums are 99,354 and 48,583 spectators, respectively.

How much will the new Inter Miami stadium cost?

It is estimated that the Miami Freedom Park & Soccer Village will require an investment of around one billion dollars, although economics will not be a problem, especially taking into account the millionaire income that the club will have with the mere presence of Messi. Along the same lines, the Miami City Commission gave the green light with a 4-1 vote, as did the citizens, who had 60% approval.
